YOKO KOHMOTO is an eldest child of immigrants, a Leo, and a producer-writer currently based in NYC. Having grown up in both Japan and the United States, Yoko is proud to bring a nuanced and global understanding to her work.

She has produced nearly twenty short films and music videos that have been selected for Vimeo Staff Pick, Short of the Week, Atlanta Film Festival, CAAMFest, and Toronto Black Film Festival, among several others.
